When students walked in the door, they were met with a "Bell Ringer" activity that had to be started once they sat down. Students were asked two questions that would have been easily answered if they explored and looked around this Weebly site.
We then reviewed names and learned a little more about the others in our classroom community.
The rest of the period was spent in our first small group collaboration. Each small group worked to define the class expectations ( Be Prompt, Be Prepared, Be Productive, Be Polite, Be Positive) by coming up with examples and non-examples for each Be statement.
We started sharing and taking notes today-classes will finish tomorrow.
