Today students were introduced to a refined list of expectations for discussion groups. These FCAs or focus correction areas will be how students are assessed in small group discussions .We took notes on what actions and details from our 4-Square could explain each FCA and also began a practice discussion using the Fishbowl technique. The fishbowl technique puts four people in the middle a circle of student desks. These four have roles that they play and a prompt to discuss. The outside studetns take notes and give feedback on how each member interacted.
